Problem Statement

Kiranjyoti Foundation needed a clear online presence to communicate its mission, highlight social initiatives and help supporters understand how they could contribute. Important information was difficult to find quickly, especially on mobile devices.

Possible Solution

We planned a warm, mobile-first website with a clear content structure, impact-focused storytelling, easy contact paths and prominent calls to action for donations, volunteering and partnership inquiries.

The Approach

Designed to turn awareness into meaningful action.

We followed a human-centred design process. First, we simplified the information architecture. Then we created accessible visual patterns, clear calls to action and emotionally meaningful sections that help visitors feel connected to the foundation's mission.

Qualitative Research

We studied how donors, volunteers and people seeking support interact with non-profit websites. The goal was to understand their questions, trust concerns and the actions that encourage meaningful participation.

Interview Questions

  • What information do visitors need before donating to a foundation?
  • What makes a donation platform feel trustworthy and transparent?
  • How can volunteers quickly find campaigns or ways to contribute?
  • Which impact stories motivate users to take immediate action?
  • What problems do users face while filling donation or contact forms?

Key Insight Derived

  • Visitors need clear information about the foundation’s mission and impact.
  • Donation actions should be simple, visible and available throughout the website.
  • Real stories, campaign updates and transparency improve donor confidence.
  • Mobile users need a fast, distraction-free journey to contribute.
